I was wondering if anyone else had come across this problem before. This
is on a '96 4.0 Pushrod w/ 233,000 miles. I have recently developed what
sounds like an exhaust leak coming from the EGR tube / valve. I cannot
tell exactly where it's coming from and have intermittently been getting
a CEL with a P0401 code. I know the DPFE is good as I replaced it about
a month ago and have since checked it's operation when the code came
back. Is there a common place on these engines where the EGR system leaks ?

probably where you can't see it.
before it gets too hot can you put a hand up under there and feel for it?
