i'm considering a 03 explorer limited with 34000 miles on it. i pulled
the carfax and it showed that the first 1 year and 4 months it was a
corporate fleet vehicle(michigan). it aquired 22000 miles during that
time. the last 2 years 6 months it has been a personal vehicle(idaho)
and aquired only 12000 miles during that time.

my question is whether or not i should be concerned about corporate
fleet lease.

thanks in advance for advice.

i have an 02 explorer corp. lease & have had much nicer vehicals. my
fault for not checking it out better befor buying it. it was raining the
day i bought it & the first day i saw it when dry, i couldn't believe
the paint condition. i've had the transmission worked on & the rear end
leaked. it now has 72,000 miles on it. i wouldn't buy another lease
vehical. in my opinion, the drivers don't give a sh*t because it's not
theirs & the corp. puts of repairs because it leaves them short a
vehical while it's in the shop.

by the way.....i also  got a carfax report on it before buying it. not
worth the paper it's printed on. abuse, neglect & many other things are
not found on their reports.
