Just received a letter from Firestone offering replacement on Wilderness AT. My never on the ground spare is subject. I want it replaced with the Michelin LTX M/S which I had put on there during the first recall. The local Firestone people will replace only with Firestone/Bridgestone product. Alan == It's not that I think stupidity should be punishable by death. I just think we should take the warning labels off of everything and let the problem take care of itself. -------------------------------------------------------- Actually I remember reading recently that someone had a fatality/blow out (in CA?) after putting on their Wilderness AT spare after having a flat. I had already gotten Michelin LTX-MS tires for all the others. The Cross-Terrain tire has never moved since. I was surprised to get that letter on the recall!
