Oil Change Reminder Message

I had my oil changed by my regular mechanic. He didn't reset the "Oil Change
Reminder" message, so now when I start up my explorer, the message center is
telling me that I will need to change the oil soon. The mechanic says he
will reset it, but I wondered if this is something I can easily do myself.
Do I need to buy a lot of equipment to do this or is there an easy way?

Thanks for your help.

The only thing you need to do is read the user manual.

How cruel!  I'm a male, I don't read user manuals. :-)

Well, I did read it and solved my problem. Thanks.
