Upon start up my 2000 Explorer revs up and down until it stalls.  This
only happens when the engine is cold and the outside air temp is below
60 degrees. In warm weather it runs fine.  I've replaced the mass
airflow sensor and had a mech check for vacuum leaks, but still no
luck. Any
ideas?  Thanks.

Upper and lower intake manifold gaskets usually cause this. Also the
IAC has been known to cause this symptom. Go to
explorerforum.com and search for this symptom.
