I'm looking for an XM addon for my 2003 Explorer.
I currently have the factory 6 disk in dash stereo w/ DVD player in back.
Looks like there are some you can install behind the dash that use the Aux
port.
I'm not looking to setup a dock in my car.

Any ideas?

That's no problem, wherever you buy the XM will install for you or you
can do it yourself. Or you can use a small portable XM and plug it into
the aux jack without a dock. The advantage to the portable and docking
ones is of course that you can take it with you and use it elsewhere
without paying for another subscription. I've got Sirius and love it I
never use the FM band anymore.

The '02-'05 Explorers have Satellite radio already built into the 6 disc in
dash CD Player/Radio. To get it activated you go to your dealer. I am
pretty sure they will bill you a monthly bill, But not positive, as I have
not done it. Its in your owners Manual..... Good Luck!
