For the stock stereo/CD unit on a 2000 Explorer:

What is the output power per channel?

What is the configuration of the head unit and power amp(s)? Is it 2 seperate
units (i.e. Can you intercept a line level signa from the head to run to a
crossover and subwoofer amp for instance?)

Thanks,

Will

it is 5 watts rms 15peak.If your looking to add an amp get a Hi to Low
conerveter and connect it to the rear speaker leads and run RCA's from that to
your amp. Most decent amps have the converter built in.
