Would have to be the story of the year, Toyota have outsold Ford for #2
spot worldwide.

When you consider that the Ford figures include sister companies
Volvo,Jaguar,L/Rover,A/Martin (no Mazda?) and Toyota's Hino and Daihatsu
(no Lexus?) this makes it more satisfying

How many units are GM in front ? After then now....

Well done T, come a long way from Loom/sewing machines maker.

Ford Motor Co.'s credit ratings on $180 billion of debt were cut to the
lowest investment grade by Standard & Poor's, which said the automaker's
ability to improve profits and cash flow is limited. Hmmm sounds like
they may be in for a heck of a rough ride.

Just thought i'd add, i have one of those old toyota sewing machines, passed
down from my late fathers mother(very old), works perfectly still! i had a
look inside and the mechanicals are just awesome! it's like an engine inside
that sewing machine, crackshaft and everything. Just goes to show toyota
were good engineers back then too.
