Congratulations to Ross & Jummy Stone for running the best Ford team in the
land (and not just this year). A justifiably deserved result which has been
a long time coming. And Ambrose is a shining beacon amongst all  the egos
and vested interests who surround him on the grid at each and every race.
Ever since he placed his Falcon on pole position for the 2001 Australian
Grand Prix support race, you knew the guy was destined for big things. All
he now needs to do is tame the Mt Panorama race track and success will
follow at the track where it matters the most in this country.

Looking forward to 2004.

NB - loved Ingall's move on Skaife - makes up for him putting the leading
car into the kitty litter at Sandown in September this year.

But it was wrong to aim his car at him.....
Bad sportsmanship (and dangerously stupid) I thought.

Skaife standing at the edge of the track for a number of minutes was equally
stupid - where were the marshalls to escort him from the track?

Its wrong yes, but looking at the angle when the camera showed Ingall
change direction, it didn't look like he was directly aiming for
Ingall, just going to the edge of the track.

I don't think he was aiming his car at him so much as getting close enough
so he could hear what Skaife had to say.

To top off a great year Ambrose wins the inaugural Barry Sheene award.

Yeah but as Ingall was handing out the medal and Skaife was one of the
nominees, I wonder what would have occured if Skaife was awarded the Barry
Sheene award? :-)
