BA Falcon XR6 Premium sound TFT Mod

Has anyone been successful in moding the tft screen in the BA XR6 ?

What I would like to know is;
- Pinouts for the inputs to the tft,
- Where to source the plug for the inputs, looks like a Camry plug maybe
even an earlier Falcon has the very same plug

What I want to do is plug in my Laptop to the TFT in the dash, to allow
DVD's to be viewed, MP3 music, Net access
and the list goes on.

Imagine being able to look at the Yellow pages whilst you are in the suburb
or do a whereis search ....

Guys, please let me know if you have some info on this project

join fordforums.com a few guys are mucking with them at the moment,
have seen DVD's being played back, someone is hooking an XBOX in,
another I have heard is small PC in boot, HD full of MP3's, wireless
lan card and wirless LAN at home - DL music from web and dump it onto
the in car PC!

You will find that there is a whole lot more information on this
particular modification at www.fordmods.com
Apart from the extensive documentation on how to do this modification
(Which seems to be exclusive to Fordmods) there are 2 Very detailed
threads discussing the various aspects of VGA sync issues, SCART Video
output for X-Box, Device Driver and VGA Kludging, and Information on
the IR port...

There are still some issues regarding this modification, and the doco
is still being updated as days go by, so its worth while constantly
checking the site for any updates.
