SignatureRegards Blue Remove Z from email address to reply directly. could be faulty ignition switch....... run a horn relay from 12v to the starter ( pins 30 & 87 ) and switch it with the ignition wire to earth (pins 85 & 86 )..... i`ve seen that fault before.... or , neutral start switch is faulty.... ITs where the "smart lock" lives and causes such symptoms if faulty. not knowing exatcly how the system on the eb works, it could be the module that detects that the correct key has been inserted too. You'll know if its this as the smart lock light will be flashing very fast when you try and start the car, there will be starter action for a while and wont fire, then it wont engage the starter at all. thats how Au's work, very doubtful if the EB is as advanced though. It will cause what appears to be BCM problem etc too.
