I have 2 different quiestions so here goes:
1) I have an early model EA falcon and need to paint the two panels that go
over the wheel arches, is there any fast way to sand them back to bare
metal?? and can i spray paint them in the open air or do i need to do it in
a garage?
How much would it cost to get the whole car resprayed in Monza Red or could
i choose another colour??

2) My bumper cover is sagging on the left hand side(there are a lot of EA's
that I have noticed with this problem) how do i go about fixing this(i was
told about a clip on the left hand side which is supposed to have come off
but it has not)?

Can of paint stripper will strip the paint off to close enough to bare metal
and the rest can be done with sandpaper.

A whoe car respray cost I can't help with. I usually paint myself. Choosing
any other color than the color of the current body will cost a substancial
bit more.

If the bumpers plastic and the heats moulded it? There is no way fix it but
a replacement non-droopy bumper. Escort RS2000's suffer the same issue on
their nolethane front ends.

bare minimum 2.5K for a decent full respray in the same colour, Is your EA
worth that much to you ?

You'd buy a showroom condition EA for that price alone.

Out here in the sticks (central-weat NSW) $2500 only gets a very ordinary
EA. Good looking ones still fetching circa $4995 (gotta onclude that little
$5 diff!)

It doesnt rain much out here so rust is usually not a factor, but front-ends
can knocked about a bit if rural.

I let an XC alloy 250/4.1 manual 5 speed slip by for $600, plus an XA -GT
lookalike with showroom paint (GT-Orangey colour) for $5k. Trouble was it
was a 302 Cleveland with BW auto. But it looked great.

Strange to find an XC with an alloy head 250? And a 5 speed?
