OK, I never totally understand, but I am fairly tolerant of rice mobiles and
certainly
don't understand their logic, but some vehicles look generally OK.

Today I just saw something that left me totally speechless.  Totally
speechless.

Underneath was an innocent XD falcon GL.  Off-white in colour.

OK so a typical ricer might take a EVO badge and stick it on a
stock lancer - this guy decided that he would take the L off the GL
and change it to a GS.  Funny enough on it own, but the rest it just
plain sick.

Given the boxy sharp angles of the Blackwood falcons flares for these
cars tended to get equally sharp, square flare kits, not this one.  I swear
these were the roundest fattest flares I had ever seen - would look great on
an old VW but they were HUGE.  Came out at least half a foot from the body
line.
That combined with standard wheels and tyres made quite an eye-catching
combination.

Then there was the front spoiler which looked like it was from a V8
Supercar, and scraping
the ground on a flat road.  I am still perplexed.  Wish I had a digital
camera for you, you'd
love it.

Me, I was embarrassed to be driving a Ford for the first time in my life.

you think thats bad, there's a bloke going around south brisbane (capalaba)
in a VB commodore, with a lancer evo spoiler on the boot. that along with
primed panels, and turbo sticker on the bootlid and a 'flamey' exhaust
(obvious done with like a spark plug or something)... you just gotta laugh

me and my mates rocked up in my VL na 6cyl, and asked if it was really a
turbo, he says "turbo 202", we're like, 'oooh, giveus a look under the
bonnet' and he mumbles some sh.t about bonnet latch is f.cked. we laughed
and drove off. add to that we (mates) mentioned i had a r31 passage gt at
home currently unregod and was turbo, and he didnt beleive us.

a few nights later we rocked up at capalaba maccas with it and yelled at him
"nice turbo ... chuckle", and he said something similar, but at least he
realised ours was turbo after hearing the wastegate let off in front of him.

he just steped back and ... i suppose... sulk in a way, told i guess :)
no idea some people

Yes, it's time guys, to come out and admit to the silly things you've
done to cars in your youth.

I remember my first car, a Datto 1600, that lost it's rubber gear
stick boot.  For about 4 months it was replaced by a condom stretched
over the last bit of the original boot...

Mum hated that car.

Cheers
