i have a 1990 EA falcon with multi-point injection, and was wondering if
anyone new wether it was safe to run it on that E10 ethanol blend, i have
been told that the most it will do is make the engine run a bit hotterbut
that is all. however annother sorce told me that it could damage the
injectors or piston rings. which is true?

Up here in Maryborough, Queensland, a mate of mine tried it. Caused alot of
internal damage due to him not doing several things before he ran it on
ethanol. Might pay to ask at a local transport dept or from the company
itself. There are agencies that have a booklet that explains what you must
do first.

Hope that helps.

My mate had a 3rd month 90 EA wagon.

called up the local ford dealer up here in TOWNSVILLE queensland and asked
about it and he said it was fine as long as it was only 10%, that most
problems arise when people try to use 20-25% ethenol

Oh No!!! Another from scaryborough!  We must be advancing!  There are
three people from here who know how to use the internet!  Next thing
you know, Aramara will be surfing the net!
