Hello,

I have a 1989 EA Falcon with a 3spd auto transmission.  The trans has been
leaking recently out of the sump and I noticed that all the sump bolts were
very loose.  I have tightened all of these up slightly and it seems to have
stopped the leaks.

My question is however, now that my fluid level is down by a litre or so,
what fluid do I use to top it up?   There are heaps of different types, what
should I use for the EA 3spd?

Regards,
Troy

If it's a three speed, then it's a variant of the old faithful BW35 (the
EA's version is actually called the Borg Warner model 51), and it uses
Dexron II transmission fluid, which is the most common type available.
