I have a set of front disks i plan to install, ive heard its neccessary to
use a torque wrench when redoing the stub axle nut, does anyone know what
the correct amount is ?

Out of interest ill tell you how much your getting ripped off by if youve
had this done on your ABS equiped EB - EL

RRP on the DBA replacement disks are $127.28+ GST each, My cost was
$58.92+gst each.
bendix advance pads, RRP $63.03+gst, my cost $34.36+gst.

f.ck mechanics & f.ck paying retail.

anyone interested in the same deal in perth, can sling me a carton and you
too can pay these prices ;)

Hehe. It's ridiculous isn't it? I did my EL's front discs/bearings and pads
for $150 15,000k's ago. DBA discs/bosch pads all the usual crap.

Same goes for the fuel pumps they vary from $150-310. My price $100. Brand
new VDO pump. I am considering buying a box. As I could resell them @ $110
but buying 10 at a time get them for $80ea. In all honestly I couldn't
really be buggered. lol The way my Mrs goes through the EL pumps from
running it dry, drives me nuts!

Some parts don't have a lot of markup on, such as those crappy radiator
surge tanks.

its a piece of plastic, and sells for if I rember $85 retail, wholesale it
was $66 inc, which isn't much saving.

next purchase will be to replace those dodgy window channel rubbers, front
left and right, going to get 2 sets, one for the ed, and one for the ef,
they look the same.. retail they are $60 per side, ill post what I pay for
them when I have them...
