I bought an AU2 ex-cop car from the government auctions. If you buy from the auctions, you may even be able to afford a BA. On the AU2, we have had no problems so far, except for a bit of rust where the gas struts connect in the boot. We had ours fixed under warranty, but AU2 would be out of warranty by now, so check that area. I reckon its a great car, my previous was an EA wagon (lemon), before that an XD Fairmont Ghia (great car). The AU2 is a much better car than it was ever given credit for. I have driven COmmodores of the same age, and I dont see that they are any better. The police pack came with XR6 suspension. Paul > if i had the extra cash i would > but an AU2 will have to do!
