Does anyone know of any problems with high oil pressure on EL Ford Fairmont
Ghia.
I am having some problems with mine. the oil pressure gauge is up around 7
in the red area.

Cheers

First thing to do is to beg-borrow-buy a capillary OP gauge with the right
adaptor to sscrew into the threaded hole (in the block) where your elextric
sensor is,..or you could just buy a new sensor.

If OP is really high, an not a meter problem,..then your pressure release
valve has stuck shut. In this event, your OP should rise and fall with revs
to a certain amount.

My Clevo OP did this on and off during the first 6000 ks after a rebuild.
Eventually the release valve seated properly.
