Hi All, Long time since I have posted here.

I am interested to hear from any one that has done a engine changeover to
AU3 in an EF.
I am mid way through one and need some information on the sensors .....
I am planning to use the existing AU motors TPS, ISC, MAP/Temp sensor, Crank
Pos Sensor, Water Temp sensor and Cam Pos sensor.

Problem I face is I dont have wiring diagrams for the AU yet.
The information I need is:

TPS the plug is different, but is it electrically compatible?
ISC again different plug but I assume ellectrically compatible?
MAP/ Temp, Au the MAPand the inlet temp sensor are combined into a module
that mounts on the inlet manifold.
EF are seperate units, are the outputs of the individual sensors the same?
Crank Pos Sensor seems to be the same unit and plug.
Water temp, now located at the back of the head, I assume again that the
sensor is compatible.
Cam Position sensor.- this is the hard one, I could use the CMP from the AU
but the block does not have the thread hole in the required position.
The AU has the sensor on the timing chain cover. Both have 3 wires, is the
sensor compatible?

Cheers,
Tony.

Take a look or post of the forums @ www.fordmods.com. Someone there may
have already completed the conversion your asking about.

Thanks Brenden
I have posted there with some other questions regarding the conversion ,
most have had the conversion done for them and are not across the specific
detail.
I am not aware of any that have retained the AU sensors.

Regards.
Tony.
