All Mark 1 Capri?s sold in Australia, we didn?t get any Mark 2s or 3s
here, except for personal imports, were assembled at Fords Homebush
Plant in Sydney from knock down kits sent out from the UK.

If you want to know anything about Australian Capri?s visit
www.capricarclub.org.au for full details.

There were 50 RS3100s imported into Australia and sold through the
Ford dealer network.

Also, there were 6 Mark 2 Capri imported by Ford Australia for testing
purposes.  These were eventually sold off in the trade and some made
it to the track.

Allan Moffats RS3100 (with quad-cam 3400cc 440bhp+) was one of only 4
made.  One was destroyed in a smash, one was owned by Tom Walkinshaw,
at least until recently, one is in a German museum and one is/was in
New Zealand with Mike John.  This NZ one was recently sold back to the
UK, or so I?m told.

Greetings,
Yes they are all imports into Australia, there even 34 RS3100 imported as
well, as Allan Moffat raced one in the 1970's
