I have a factory fitted radio that wont stay on for more than one hour at a
time, even when I am driving, also it wont switch off when I turn off the
key. Can anybody help me out.

Did you just buy the car used?

the deck is running on permanent power rather than accessory power, perhaps
the accessory fuse is blown or the deck has been reinstalled and not
connected to accessory power. They will start and run for 1 hour or so on
permanent power, they stop to protect the battery.

if there is accessory power going to the deck and its wired correctly, then
it's stuffed.
