I think theres a problem with either my fuel filter or fuel pump, so
I'm wondering if anyone can tell me where the filter and the pump are
located on an XH Falcon ute so I can check it out? Also, how can I
check the fuel pressure?

Are the fuel pumps found in the actual fuel tank ???  and the fuel filter
found at the back of the firewall on the passenger side as the fuel line
comes up from underneath it enters a filter then goes to the carb or inlet
manifold ??

Hope that is right

thanks for your help

changing the fuel filter didn't solve the problem though :(
when it changes into about 3rd gear while i'm accelerating it holds
back for a few seconds and then it sort of surges and then continues to
accelerate normaly. It does this most times after starting it but it
only does it once and then its fine.
i've changed the air filter and fuel filter. i've also changed the
spark plugs, leads and distributor cap. Anyone got any idea what the
problem could be?
