I have an 87 xf falcon. The drivers door won't open from either side. I've
managed to prise the inner cover partway off and can see the mechanism. It
looks like the door handles are still engaging.

Anyone have any ideas?

slide a flat metal strip about 1" wide down inside the boor via the
windows slot , with practice its easy to open , sounds like the actuator
bush on the lock has let the arm drop down ,
