Car starts fine, but after 10 km's or so the idle starts playing up and
car will stall usually at traffic lights / going around a corner. Now
starting to stall whilst driving. Usually at low speeds, over 200,000
kms on the clock.

Thought it was a gas problem so spent over $1,000 and the car is
running worse than ever.

Please Please help,

The car is also misfiring badly, and has already exploded 2 lots of
exhaust within the 6 months that I had owned it.

You replaced the leads and coil lead yet? Always replace them with good gas
leads.

Had a similar problem with 1994 ED
problem was a valve leaking which allowed a small amount of petrol thru when
running on gas. Symtoms only showed during low speed  and idle until leak
got too much and wouldnt run at all on gas. Thats when fault was found and
fixed.
