Hey all,

Just wondering if there's any alternatives around for the standard XF/ZL/FE
EFI engine head.  I've been quoted $450 for a complete re-build head, and
probably more to have my own re-built (It's a Gem engine using 1st oversize
EA valves, among other things).

I was wondering if anyone knew of possibly some kind of performance head
that would fit onto a standard engine without any serious modification.
Y'know - A 4v head (Akin to that of the V8 Cleveland) or something.
Availability and price would also be appreciated, if possible (I'm in the SE
Queensland area).

Ta,
Jon.

Yeah, get a left one from a Lamborghini Diablo V12 - they bolt straight on
with no modifications

Don`t be silly Roofi , stop telling people lies.....
It`s the right one that bolts straight on ,
left one has the intake and exhaust manifolds around the wrong way...
LOL

brett.....

Brett,

That's a common misconception. You have to remember that the Lambo engine is
in 'backwards' so you have to turn it around 180 deg and to bolt the head
on. So it's the left head as bolted in the Lambo and the right head if you
look at the engine the 'normal' way.
