Anyone know if the TFI components on a Falcon EEC-IV (XF, EB, ED) are the
same?
Pinouts and naming on computers suggest they might be.

Yes and they are easily fixed see
http://www.therangerstation.com/TFI_Diagnostic.html usually a
resistor or diode failure. Check the reading in the link; open
it up and trace to parts from socket pins to find parts that
need replacing.
