Considering some Sime 215/60 15 tires. Anyone got any comments?
Alternative is Firestone TZ108. Both cheapies - $110 / $120
Bear in mind, I don't plan to race on them!!!
Thanks
simi or simex ?. the latter Ive found average in the wet but very long
wearing.

Had Simex before and they were fine, however this time round fitted
Hankook,as suspect they have slightly better wet performance.
Most noticeable thing is they r really quiet

Ive been running Simex SM8000's (mid performance oriented) 225/55/16 on an
EL and am very happy with them. Good grip wet and dry and reasonably priced
($160 each).
I had Sime on the wife's care and the tread pattern and composition looked
identical to the SM8000 Simex. They seemed to be just as good as the SM but
slightly cheaper.

Simex make excellent tyres at a reasonable price. They are a wide tyre for
their size making Hankooks look like they are at least a tyre size smaller.
