is it possible to do a swap taking the differential out of a 88 model EA
wagon and putting it in a 90 model EA sedan?

what about the diff centre?

I think the pinion in the sedan is screwed cos its making a noise when I
go over 80km/h.

Wagon has mounts for leaf springs. Sedan is Watts Link and has different
mounts. You can swap the centres as they are both the same BW diff. Pain in
the a.s though as you have to set up a few clearances with shimms etc.
