Hey has anyone had any experience with super cheap auto's brake pads?
I beleive they are ferodo brand.
do they last and are they good at stopping?

They are a standard composition pad which for $20 a set are good value from
my exp.

I had no drama's on an Escort but found them really bad on an EL Falcon.

Yeah they are ferodo zero's. They wear quick and put black sh.t over your
mag wheels. I replaced them after three months as I dont like cleaning the
mags every week. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Last brake pads I purchased for my XE, Super cheap had 3 different brands
available. Bosch, Ferodo and some super cheapo pads (3 letter name from
memory - ABC??). I bought the cheapies for about $20 or so. I found them
honestly quite terrible, but given the kind of driving the XE does, they are
adequate (driving to from work and that's it). Don't expect performance
braking from a brake pad that costs you $20. It is a 'you get what you paid
for situtation'. If you are into 'spirited' driving as such I'd suggest
forking out a little more for pads.
