Hi all

I have just bought a 2.0 Zetec E Hatch,

so far generally impressed tidy handling, turns in nicely, good grip in the
corners, but it feels a little slow for 129bhp in getting from 40 to 70 mph
ie. typicall overtaking manouver

Does any one know revs for max torque and max horse power, as there is no
red line on the tacho ?

thanks peter

Max torque is at 4500rpm and max power at 5500rpm.

I find shifting at around 5600-5700, therefore dropping the revs back into
the thick of the torque band best for max acceloration. There is no point
revving it any harder, power drops off like a lead balloon after this.

Tim..
