STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP

The car will not start with the key in the ignition. The battery is fine
the steering wheel is locked with the ket in the ignition. What is wrong
here

You have not said whether the key will turn in the ignition. If it does not,
this is a common fault in early production Focuses. You will need a dealer
or locksmith to fix, since it requires a new lock cylinder that must be set
for your keys.

When mine did that I had to have a new ignition installed.  It cost about
$175.  It's a common problem but Ford hasn't had a recall on it.
