Hello Everyone:
I am a newcomer to this website and I think it's great that there is
something out here for all of us! I just bought a 2001 Ford Focus. Previously,
I had a 1993 Nissan Altima. Last year I bought brand new tires for the Altima
(205/60R15) from Conrad's. My Focus has (P195/60R15) from Firestone. I don't
want to go out and buy more new tires (the Focus' tires are almost bald), so
I wanted to change the tires I have on the Nissan over to the Focus. I have
two questions:
(1) Since they both have 15' rims, could I exchange the tires on the Nissan
for the Focus and still drive safely? If so, I need to exchange two tires at
a time since the tires are still on the Nissan.
(2) I live in Cleveland, OH. Does anyone know of a shop that would do this at
a reasonable price? Firestone wants to charge me an outrageous price of $17.
99/per tire!! (However, they did say it includes balancing also).
Thanks in advanced for any help!!

Yes you should be able to use the Altima tires on your Focus, however for
snow 195 can be better. Take a look at the following thread for more details:
