Anyone know if this will work on a late 2000 Focus 1.8 zetec, it says in
the manual 2001- onwards but when did the "2001" models appear?

If garage wants to charge £70 to read them I thought might as well buy
one myself if it will work

The 2001 'facelift' model is the one which has the flashers in the front
headlights.

Earlier model had them in the bumper.

Mine is the pre facelift model then, wonder if they changed the ECU, the
SCT Raptor says it works on all 98 onwards OBD-II ECU's but the draper
says it only works with 2001 onwards models???

Have there been any firmware updates on the ECU's?
