removing a 6000cd (2005) ?

(The head unit with the central volume dial.)

Any one have an idea how to remove this? It needs a tool that is
different to the old Ford removal tools, and they do not sell them in
Halfords. It looks like it needs a tool that is wide, but thin like a
tape measure.

I used a wire coat hanger bent in a U shape.

The 6000 with the central volume control (new shape) needs 4 keys, one in
each corner.   This MIGHT be poss using 4 small bladed objects like a finger
nail file or pocket knife but will be hard.
