2000 2.0L DOHC Engine Interference or non-interference motor?

Good question, don't know for sure, but I seem to remember somebody saying
it is a non-interference motor.

EU or US?

2.0 Zetec found in EU cars is definitely interference.

The North American made 2.0L Zetec is a non interference engine as long as
it is in stock form.

EU or US?

The North American 2.0 16 must run a lower compression ratio to the EU ones
then??
