Focus 2003 CD6000 AUX???

I'd like to connect mp3 player or other ext audio devices to my radio
forf CD6000.
How can I do it???

Basically you can't. The radio communicates with accessories such as a cd
auto changer using CAN bus commands.
If the radio 'sees' an auto changer then it will accept external audio
input.
One way would be to borrow an auto changer and a CAN bus analyser and
workout how the radio identifies the auto changer.
Then use a microcontroller to emulate the auto changer and add your MP3
audio into the radio. This is specialist work.

For virtually everyone this is just too hard and not worth the effort. Why
not just buy an FM modulator for your MP3 player and receiver the audio via
the radio?

Which type of CD 6000 you talking about? The one with the central
volume control?

OOps hit enter too early here!

What I was going to go on and say is that Bob said it correct!

I've just looked into doing it myself and found that I have that 6000
CD model with the central volume control and the CDDJ button and the
only way I could get and MP3 player input was to use the iTrip type
model.
