Just bought an 06 fusion and am wondering if the remote from my 04
focus can be programmed to work in the fusion. If so how can it be done?

yes,  look in your handbook for programming procedures.

you can buy a blank key blade for your old remote so it will be an extra
key.     you need 2 keys to be able to programme others from if u only have
1 then its a trip to the stealership 4 u.
