When you say "getting rid of it in few weeks" - as in selling it or scraping it? If selling, you'll need to fix it or risk of getting the sale price lowered by the interested buyer once they hear about the clutch problem unles you don't care? Has the price of your old car been agreed? If so, leave the car alone until the day of trade. Then it's up to them to inspect your car or not. It's your move really.
