ZTS stock size is 205-50-16

has anyone installed 205-55-16 ?

besides more selection in 55 series and better pricing

any difference in ride or tire wear?

I had 205/55R 16V Pirelli P7's on my MkII Ghia - got about 18k out of the
fronts. Now trying Pirelli P6000's.

Also in the UK V's are cheaper than H's. Dunno why.

The only difference you would notice is you will be traveling faster
than indicated by your speedometer.  But the difference is to small to
be noticable.  you'll be going 62 with and indicated 60 mph.  Only
other thing is the difference in feel of the car...i.e.  steering
response will decrease ect.
