Hi! I am an owner of new Ford focus and I have some questions:
- what engine oil do you use? My car was delivered with semi synthetic
but I would rather switch to full synthetic because of turbo and
hydraulic driven valves. Do you think that is necessary and what are
your suggestions?
- in second gear I have a problem with vibrations within 1200-1800rpm.
It feels like some unbalanced mass, not a hiccough of engine. My
licensed car service told me this is not a problem. What do you think?
- what are your experiences with this engine?

Thanks and sorry if off topic...

This vehicle must have a 5-30 grade oil...I know it flows like water but
these engines need it. Ford Formulae E 5-30 is what you need..and if you
find a good dealer they will sell it to you for 20 quid for a 4.5l
container...if you get a bad dealer they will charge you 35 quid for the
same container!
Re the vibrations..I have a 2.0 tdci 136PSI and there are no vibrations at
all. start with the basics...I suppose the wheels have been balanced?
