Focus seating posiition

Hello everybody.
I have just bought a 2008 Focus Zetec Automstic and I find the driver's seat
is lower than I would like.
The adjustment for the seat cushion raises the seat but it also moves the
cushion forward, which results in an uncomfortable seating position.
Using a loose cushion does not help because it means the side support
provided by the seat ios changed.

:Please can anybody tell me whether there is a Ford approved modification

available.
Failing this, is a suitable modification something that could be done by a
specialist company. Obviously I do not want to compromise safety.
I would be grateful for any advice on this.

I have a similar problem, my 07 wagon front seat does not fold forward
(like the 2 door). With the side airbags I dont want
to compromise safety. This would make the wagon much more useful.
