very useful site - thanks for posting.

and interesting as I have had my '06 'Stang for 2 years and never
received any notice of recalls/problems  (the recalls involve
calibrating the passenger air bag for tiny women who ride with the seat
all the way forward......of no import to me, but strange that I wasn't
notified).

How do you calibrate the airbag for a tiny WOMAN, specifically?
More importantly, how could I get one? :)

The best place to get tiny women would be Asia.  Japanese are probaby
the most sexually liberated.  A mainland Chinese would tend to be
obedient and submissive, and there sure are a lot of them, closing in
on one billion. Asian Americans are a good choice, too.

HTH.

This particular recall wasn't released until March 7th (at least this is the
date that it was posted to the corporate website). FWIW, I haven't received
notification as an owner, either... but I expect just about any day now....
It can be tough to get big corporations to move any faster than the
government 8^)

My loving bride and I are both around 6 foot, so it's not a big deal for us
either, though with spring neartly upon us, we'll have the neighbourhood
kids begging for rides with the top down before long (and in spite of the
fact that the recall involved the use of an UNBELTED test dummy).

YMMV

This is just another way to search the NHTSA Database (see
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ ).

One interesting thing I noticed is that for 2005/06/07 Mustangs, one
of the recalls is not a "Ford" Recall. It is an Eibach Recall for
after market springs.
