I currently own a 97 Mustang GT, and i'm having problems with my headlights.
The problem started out a few weeks ago, when I would try to turn on my lights,
they woudn't come on on demand, they would if i waited like a min or 2 with the
switch on, then a week or 2 later I had to wait like 10 min. They also started
dimming on me when I was driving on the road, ever since then they wont come
back on. So I replaced the headlight switch and that didn't sole the problem,
my parking lights still work and so do my brights but not my regular head
lights. I think its gotta be a loose connection somewhere but not too sure. If
anyone has an idea of what might be wrong please mail me at
AceK2333@aol.com

thanks
Kevin

Have you checked the ground wire coming from the wiring harness that bolts
to the top frame rail (where the hood rest at)?

It might be in your switch on the column. Hi/Low beams. You may check for a
broken wire or bad connection at the point where it flexes when the steering
wheel tilts.
On the 98 there was a TSB that addressed a similar issue, you may want to
look into it.
It's not hard to take it apart to look at it.
Or a  fuse maybe?
When you get it fixed, post your results ok
