After replacing the left one, I realized how discolored the right one
was.  Can it be cleaned or do I need to replace it?

   Yes it CAN be cleaned, but it's never going to look like the one

IT can , but needs to be re-done once in a while. Get some aluminium
polish and polish the lens. Won't take very long and will look like
new.
