The SVT web site now sports the GT500 prominantly, as well as the
Adrenaline. The information on the site says the production version of
the car will be unvealed at the 2006 Detroit NAIAS.

My copy of Firefox couldn't handle it - had to switch over to IE.

What do you think the "market assessment fee" will be for one of these
things? I'd be surprised if they went for under sticker + $10,000.

Puh-leeze.  I gagged on the 'Legend of Carroll Shelby' thing.  Someone
please scrape the puke of my monitor...

This alignment with Shelby is just short of whoredom.  WTF?!?
Couldn't SVT do it on their own?  Again, WTF?!?!?!?!?!

The huge SHELBY letters on the back look silly to me. Overall I love
the car but I doubt if I would buy one. I think SVT is going in the
wrong direction. I think the motor should be smaller and lighter and
high revving. Maybe a 6 cylinder version of the S2000 or something
like the BMW M3. I don't see the point of massive horsepower,
especially in light of the cost of gasoline. I always liked the GT-350
more than the big block.

On the other hand, I remember when the old Shelbys were on the road. I
wanted one so bad... maybe I will get one!

Like Joe, now I'm wiping puke off my screen. A six?!? Here's the first
Shelby in decades, putting out 450 HP, and you're worried about the cost of
gas?!?

That's what I thought. So much for the cost of gas.
