My Mustang GT supposedly left the factory 2-3 weeks ago. How long
should it take to get to California? How long should I wait before I
begin suspecting they sold it at a markup rather than take my promised
MSRP, and are hoping I give up and go elsewhere?

Go there and ask in person to the salemsman. If not satisfied, ask
the manager. Next stop call Ford and ask them. ;)

One said 2 weeks, the other said anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks depending
on many factors.

I can't believe you haven't gotten your car yet!
What is so special that this one is taking so long to get here? Did you get
that fancy interior or something?

It (or one very much like the one you ordered) will be there tomorrow. I
guarantee it. ;)
