Slave Lake Crime Prevention Coalition has received $38,400 for its
Initiatives for the Prevention of Violent Behaviour project. These
initiatives will address issues within the community such as:
increasing the opportunity for women to make healthy life choices;
collecting and compiling a library consisting of resources and
referrals; increasing children’s ability to cope with/prevent violence
within their homes; and, establishing partnerships within the
community to develop strategies to meet the needs of families in order
to prevent family violence. [(780) 849-8019]

$38G out of a $32 million budget is a real windfall... Calgary, however, has
it's fair share of abuse reuslting in murder, murder/suicide, shaken baby
syndrome.... When things are bad, it is much easier to point fingers than
solve problems.

Let's see.... 1100 case of domestic violence PER MONTH in Cagary during
2003. 6 out of 15 murders in Calgary are related to domestic violence.
Calgary's costs for fighting domestic violence could be as high as $125
million dollars. Slave Lake as the capitol for domestic violence???? Look
around, dog breath....

Ummmm... I hope you get what you deserve. Aside from the fact that
Mayerthorpe is hardly "next" to Slave Lake.

With the attitude you show, I sincerely hope that emergency response
personnel find it difficult to assist you in your time of need. That
statement alone shows grand ignorance.

As a footnote, it may interest you that I may reply to some of your
misbegotten posts but I can honestly say that you are doing little in the
way of exciting me. Also of interest... every time you reply to me, you are
showing everyone both the depth of your depravity and the boundlessness of
your ignorance.

For those unaware.... recently, four RCMP officers were gunned down in an
incident at a combined "grow-op"/chop shop.... Our little buddy seems to
feel that breaking the law is totally acceptable.... if this is so, I can
imagine the noise he will put up when lawlessness becomes a little more
personal.

Yep, relic.... when this crap happens in your backyard, you might be
backpedalling real hard.
