So our 5th son was born. I get so tired of the "Gee, do you know what causes
that?" comments.

Anyhow, he was a whopping nine pounds. 19.5 inches long. Born on the 2nd of
June at 7:32pm

Jonathan Richard Manning

This is why I have been away for a bit and why I will continue to be away
for a bit until I can get a routine going again. I am home to do some
cleaning before I bring the wife and son home tonight from the hospital.

Everyone have a blessed weekend.

Way ta go! But next time, don't do your laundry together.... Sorry,
just couldn't resist pointing out what causes that.....

Anyway.... The kid is lucky! For if his parents had not had kids,
there's a better than 50/50 chance he never would. : )

Don't forget the flowers....

Congrats to you and yours!

Whew, I can't even imagine having 5 kids, let alone 5 boys. I think
somebody's going to be spending some time coaching sports in the
not-too-distant future.

One of each, four years apart...wore...me...out. God bless ya!

Yep.... raise 'em up to support him in a manner to which he'd love to
become accustomed..... so he and Bill Gates can do lunch and swap
tales..... : )

Hey I don't guess you guys saw this. I was watching cable and on
some off channel Oxygen or Travel or something, there was this couple
that had FOURTEEN kids. Yes, 14. And she was pregnant. They live in
Arkansas and the family "car" is a small school bus.

She was a stay at home mom but before they both were together in a business.
They did well in real estate as well. I can't remember what it was that they
did currently, but they had managed to get well off through out life to be
able to afford all the kids.

Mom is a housewiff and home schools all the kids. They have no TV
Radio etc. But had 12 or so computers lined up with kids on them. I
didn't see what he did, but he ran for a state or local office and won
and later ran for Senetor or congress and lost. Maybe he's a lawyer. He
just built a big fancy new house with rooms for all those rug rats from
14 down to 18mos

If anyone has an old tax booklet, you might look and see, but IIRC
more than 12 and you pay no taxes..... : ) As if THAT balances out!
LOL My great grandmother had 15. Born in the Oklahoma Territory, she
survived 3 husbands (VERY unusual back then) and came to California in
a covered wagon. She lived long enough to have watched man walk on the
moon, air travel, the motor vehicle, radio, television, movies, cell
phones, and pcs. Slipped an fell, broke her hip and died in a
convalescent hospital. Of the 15 aunts and uncles, most of the men
died in WWII. They never owned a bus, but I'll bet they wished they
had.

You too, you'll need it more than the rest of us. For about the
nest 16 years....

Congrats! Like John, I can't imagine having to raise five kids, let
alone five boys. Sounds like quite a challenge!

I hope Tina, you, and *all* your little Cabooses will continue to be
happy and healthy, both in the near and distant future.

Why am I suddenly having flashbacks from Monty Python's "Meaning of Life"?

gets quite irate..."  ;)
