I NEVER have... Or if I have, I didn't know it because it looked like a
coupe. I remember jonesing for one back when I got my '94, but couldn't
afford it. I've never seen one for sale separate either.
Did they ever actually produce any ? Anyone here have one ?

Yes they were produced, in minute quantities. I've seen one. They are cool!
The hardtop came with a special stand so you could keep it in your garage.

YES! I have
I had a chance to buy one, it was factory, black..
I passed.. what an idiot.
I passed because the paint had a little damage on it and I don't like black.
If only I had known then.
If I remember correctly they only made like 500 of them or something...
anyway.. there were a few....

Awww... quit being so negative.
All of them leak a little eventually.
What *I* didn't like was having to find aplace to put the damn top when you
took it off.
I remember now, that was a big deal when we talked about it.

According to the book Ultimate Mustang, there were less than 500 ordered.

Here's a pretty terrible scan from an itty-bitty picture in the book:

Yeah, I have an original 94 brochure with that pic in it. I just found it
odd that I have never actually seen one in real life !
BUT, if there were only 500 produced, it's no wonder. And even if I did
see one on, at a quick glance they look so much like a standard coupe, that
you likely wouldn't take notice unless pointed out.
I'd LOVE to touch one though. they look cool!
I wonder why the aftermarket hasn't started to pop them out. seems like it
would be a good seller, especially in the COLLLLD climates ...
