So Ford is going to put an IRS in the SVT Adrenalin version of the Sport Trac, but not in the GT500. A truck with IRS, but not the car? I say why pay the extra bucks for a little extra lateral stick that IRS would give? (The Mustang handles pretty darn well anyways.) Lateral stick you're unlikely to use very much anyway on the street. (Unlike extra horsepower.) I say save the IRS bucks and give me a lower priced GT500. (The more options we demand the higher the price goes.) Plus IRS is heavier, and it isn't as dragstrip friendly. Long live the solid axle!
